In a message dated 2/22/0 10:50:30 AM, Pat ask:

<< Do you know the date of this single, original study? >>

from nieferts handouts, which include zerox copies of her slides, the slide
with the n=319 stats(4% primary &11% secondary etc) does not have a date on
it, all the other related slide copies, that cover some specifics of the
study, have at the bottom: Neifert, et al Birth 17(1):31-38,1990. so, it
looks like this one study and results were part of an article, which many of
us may have somewhere in our files, cited: Neifert M, DeMarzo S, Seacat J, et
al: Breast Factors and Lactation Performance: The infulence of breast
surgery, breast appearance, and pregnancy induced breast changes on lactation
sufficiency as measured by infant weight gain. Birth 1990;17:31-38.
