To any interested clinicians on the Lactnet list:

I am doing a survey for a publication about the process of becoming a
WHO/UNICEF designated Baby Friendly Hospital.

We want to know what hospitals with the Certificate of Intent perceive as the
TOP THREE BARRIERS to becoming Baby Friendly. In other words, as you work
your way towards inspection, what three issues or requirements (in order of
importance) are the most difficult for your institution to overcome?

If your institution currently holds a Baby Friendly "Certificate of Intent",
(ie, the Certificate is active/has not expired) and you would like to
participate please email me privately to [log in to unmask] with a name
and phone number, or call me on 617/414-MILK and leave a message, and I will
call you back.

Please feel free to pass this request on to other potential respondents.
Although we need your name and the name of the institution for our own
information, names and the names of the institutions will not be published
and will be kept confidential.

THanks
Anne Merewood IBCLC
Director of Lactation Services,
The Breastfeeding Center,
Boston Medical Center
