Never. I'd be curious to hear if there's anything to it. I wonder if she
would be interested in asking her doctor for a reference on this, so she
could learn more about it (and we all could)?

Women who have frequent vaginal yeast infections without concomitant
antibiotics should be checked out for diabetes among other possible health
problems.  Oral thrush in an infant would be a different matter, I should
think. Anyone, infant, child or adult with yeast may have a compromised
immune system.  Thrush is frequently seen in the hospital setting when a
person is on cancer chemotherapy or immune-suppressants.
