Many months ago there was a thread on the Nordic BF list "Amningslistan" about the use of lecithin capsules (or tablets? not sure) to treat and to prevent recurrence of this phenomenon.
At no point in the thread was there any documented rationale given, but anecdotal reports of its effectiveness turned up several places. It was postulated that lecithin affects the tendency of milk to "curdle" in the breast.
Issues I would be concerned about are the hormone-like effects of soy products. Don't recall the recommended doses either, but I don't think they were especially high.
Have any of you heard of this remedy before? Please respond to the list.
