Some of us on Lactnet are pro vaccines and others anti.  Lactnet is really
for discussion about lactation and related issues, not safety, pro or con
of vaccines.

The statement that flu vaccine is recommended for women in 2nd and 3rd
trimesters is widely accepted.  I'm sure it wouldn't be if there was any
major risk to the fetus.   We'd take our chances with the flu (which can
cause premature delivery and all it's attendant dangers to the infant.)

And the amount of thimerisol in vaccines is safe.  They just want to remove
this preservative and make them even safer.
