Several years ago, someone posted on Lactnet that eating watermelon
produced a natural diuretic action. I don't remember the specifics of
the post, but I've found that it works remarkably well! Usually within
24 to 48 hours, much of the edema is gone from women who are eating
watermelon. The trouble with watermelon is finding it in the grocery
stores at this time of the year!
