Hello,
Please forgive me if this was posted before. I've been having
problems with my Lactnet subscription and now that I'm receiving it
again, I didn't see my question listed in the archives.
I have a question from a mom who is wishing to go back to body
building workouts. She wants to take the following supplements: Calcium
phosphate 200mg, Potassium phosphate 200 mg, Calcium B
Hydroxymonohydrate 1 Gm, with cellulose, silicome dioxide, and Magnesium
stearate. The other compound has L-tyrosine 500 mg, Citrus Aurantium 300
mg., St. John's wort 200 mg, and Yohimbe (bark) 100 mg. She also was
asking about Creatine and L-Glutamine. I did discuss with her the
possible effects of large amounts of upper body exercise on potential
milk supply and risks of plugged ducts, etc. as well. Does anyone have
any information on the safety of these supplements? Her baby is 1 month
old. I've searched the archives and although I found one related
question, I found no answer about the safety of these supplements.
Please reply privately as well as to the list in case I get "dumped" by
the computer again.
Thanks,
Kris Rogers, RN, IBCLC
