Gee I think we all know that a woman that orders from the LLL catalog has
already gotten some decent information. The risk comes in when new moms
use products they don't know much about to solve a problem they don't
know much about!!!!
While I'm not against the Walmart displays, I think we have to hope women
still seek out appropriate support. All studies show that duration of
breastfeeding increases when a support system is in place. I think it's
great that quality supplies are now more easily accessible to
everyone....maybe they'll stop coming in with the d--b suction only (no
release cycle) type pumps that are so nicely packaged by formula
companies. Now that would be a boon!
