I picked up a swarm yesterday. It was a difficult job and I think I may have
lost the queen. When I installed them they decided to cluster on the front of
the hive as if rejecting the location. I moved them to a new spot that
happened to be right next to a swarm nuc that I had started about a month
ago. They rejected this one too. The interesting part was they started
nasanov fanning at the nuc entrance and then just walked right in!

OK I am new at this, but it seems unusual that a hive of bees would just
accept a whole swarm like this. And the funny part was they spent about a
half-hour talking about it peacefully in groups before making the decision.

Has anyone else experienced this or care to comment?
