I've wondered about that, but never seen it happen. We have lots of
dragonflies here in Southeastern Pennsylvania (we're near a large creek),
but I've never witnessed a killing! I HAVE seen some giant wasps swoop down
and carry off a live bee or two, though. Frightening. And I've wondered
about bats, too. I've seen them working the areas where late-arriving bees
come in at dusk.
