Salts are obviously important for living species. But I'm
struck by a possible paradox: If you feed salty fluid to
a restrained forager, she refuses it and clearly treats it
as offensive. So, can someone please enlighten me? How
do bees crave salt, and yet treat it as noxious?

Thanks
