So, angle of the sun is a visual effect of distance between sun and earth hence there is a fluctuation in the gravitational force of the sun across the seasons. I have not carried the analysis (which would simply be charting distance between sun and earth over time). For there to be no fluctuation the orbit of the earth around the sun would have to be a perfect circle. The orbit is an ellipse, hence fluctuation. That bees may be able to detect this fluctuation is plausible.
