We have plenty of Bombus in my area, and early Bombus vos. queens are already foraging and beginning to start brood nests for the year. From what I understand, the predominant Bombus species near me has shifted from what it used to be. Some studies indicate a decline in some species of bumblebees but do not include the fact that other bumblebee species have already filled the niche in many places. --Jeremy Rose San Luis Obispo, CA *********************************************** The BEE-L mailing list is powered by L-Soft's renowned LISTSERV(R) list management software.
