I believe Randy did a good job of breaking down the issues surrounding the
Master Beekeeper issue in a polite and thoughtful way. For me personally my
title doesn't mean that I know everything there is to know about the craft. I
believe it does indicate to others that I am serious about learning and
practicing the craft. The title is not important to me but I do appreciate
being recognized for the work that I have done to achieve the title (even if the
title is wrong). I'd be happy with a title like "Beekeeping Ambassador" that
more closely describes my responsibilities.
