Not enough difference to worry about! Just less trash to look through with
guts only.

The prep method that I'm currently using involves squashing the drained bees
in a ziplock bag with a
round qt jar, then adding 1 ml water per bee and mushing bag with my
fingers.  Then view a drop.  No clean
up, and pretty clean samples.
