The other two hives showed no overt problems. I watched all three for
awhile. The bees from the affected hive were flying in a different
direction than those from the other hives.

The real key for me is what pesticide??? The most common problem I have
here is Sevin. Living close to town, Ethels roses, and Franks tomatoes
are the biggest risks. This is where as a group we break down. Most
argue for a farming ban on pesticides, while actually ignoring the big
picture.

And picking on Randy a bit (hes a big boy) Last weekend I hear a comment
about Farmers propolacticly applying to much pesticides, followed by an in
depth discussion about how we need to treat mites with a lower dose 3 times
a year now.......

So while we need to be alert, we have to get the follow up information
also.....
Without it, we are clueless chicken littles.

Charles
