Another way to handle combs of capped drone brood is to place it near suet
feeders(if you feed birds and have Woodpeckers visit the feeders).  The
Woodpeckers feed on the larvae by removing the cap and leaving the comb in
tact.  It doesn't need to be frozen first.  They like their meals warm.
