Ye Gads, we still buy your honey don't we, when was the last time you
purchased some of ours?
 
Actually the US does not accept bees from any foreign country other then
Canada... humm ... or do we still do that. Seems to me that if someone
wanted stock from NZ they could get them via Canada, but who would want it?
 
Anyway these are really non issues here in the US, and many of us would
allow importation of stock from all over the world if we could, including
myself, but I must say I would not look down under to improve on what we
have as there are other more promising selection areas that have had honey
bees a lot longer.
