Do British beekeepers make their bee suits spotless before
visiting Downing St

They were asked to wash them first so as to make a good impression; and to
use fairly inoffensive fuel in their smokers. The Parliamentary officials
were asked to provide a fire-proof bin for the smouldering fuel so the smokers
could be extinguished before entering the building and setting off all the fire
 alarms.
