Bayer varroa-gate miticide. The concept of application is excellent to protect colonies from robbing or drifting bees with mites.  Results shown at a meeting were promising but mites were not resistant to Coumaphos. In this part of the world, it will not work due to coumaphos resistant mites. For example Last year I checked for coumaphos efficacy in Alberta Canada, efficacy was 18-22%. Mites were still resistant as 5 years ago.  This is after beekeepers stopped using coumaphos for over 4 -5 years. The same concept of application is being tried using Amitraz and Fluvalinate but still working on concentrations. One question comes to mind, due to limited openings of the bee gate for use by bees as an entrance, a good bee cluster hangs around the front of the hive. Then, how can you get all the bees in fast enough to reduce clustering outside of the hive?
