Hello Mark!

All good questions, and I agree that many things are likely contributing 
to this problem, which will probably make a diagnosis of the cause near 
impossible. 

But I also wonder, in the rush to meet colony quotas for pollination.  
What might the contribution be from indiscriminately splitting MOST 
colonies to make numbers regardless of performance?
