BACKGROUND: Bee honey has been an outstanding household remedy used for
the treatment of cough and wheezing associated with bronchitis. The
therapeutic use of honey in the form of inhalation dates from very early

CONCLUSION: BHN is an effective and safe treatment for mild and moderate
acute attacks of asthma in infants and children.
