Really? Being from Michigan I have to disagree here.  Pretty much every
fruit tree out there gets a dose or 6 of insecticide and fungicide multiple
times a year. They spray most of the grains for various pests, even alfalfa
gets sprayed regularly in order to produce a good crop.  What constitutes a
major crop that doesn't get sprayed with insecticides?
