Gasoline will contaminate the combs with mutliple organics, including all  
of the BTEX compounds - benzene, toulene, ethylbenzene, xylene.  All  
carcinogens, all persistent, all toxic to bees, and all likely to go in to the  
wax.
 
Terrible idea.  Stick to soapy water.   Jerry
