Though based only on perception (gut feeling!) I imagine many things I examined might still be consistent, particularly relating to active posters to casual posters to lurkers. 

My interests at that time were mostly in the social changes as BEE-L transitioned from limited Internet/govt/scientific/educational access to public.

I hadn't realised so much time had passed!
