For those like myself trying to play catch up on the subject of imidacloprids here is a link to the comments and supporting documents presented to the EPA from both sides of the debate. ( http://www.regulations.gov/#!docketBrowser;rpp=25;po=0;dct=PS%252BSR;D=EPA-HQ-OPP-2008-0844;refD=EPA-HQ-OPP-2008-0844-0010 ) There are comments from the Sierra Club, Steve Ellis of the National Honey Bee Advisory Board, Bayer Crop Science, farmers and bee keepers. Reading through the supporting documents you can find several references for further study.
