We already have them and they are called Russian bees (regional variation of the Carniolan). They 
swarm more, are resistant to tracheal and varrora and possibly nosema. While the first introduction 
was not received by the industry many of us have found these bees are easy to keep alive with 
minimal to no treatments of any kind.
