Hi Aaron:
Not to be smart or anything, but FYI, here are the Latin names,
skunk cabbage, symplocarpus foetidus
pussy willow, salix discolour Muhl
From the Peterson Field Guides.
To date have not seen any of these in bloom in the Niagara Peninsula of S.
Ontario, Canada.
