Following the debate on RH and temperature I wonder if you need to be 
looking at Equilibrium Moisture Content (EMC).  This is what is used in 
timber (lumber to the north Americans) drying and is basically what the 
timber will dry to, which is governed by the outside or kiln conditions, 
which is what the EMC is.  EMC varies according to temperature and RH.  So 
you can have a low EMC even though the temperature is high and the RH is 
high.
