Of course, but the central issue for most of us is not whether these chemicals are harmful to honey bee colonies, but whether or not they do more harm than the pathogens they are meant to combat. In other words, which is worse: the cure or the disease? 

Having used similar substances on myself for decades, I have noticed that my health improves when the appropriate treatments are applied, and declines when I have infections, parasites, and whatnot.
