because I can learn about bees from them. That is why I am here. I would
like less politics please.

 Then I followed up with:
but realize one thing, Science is inextricably linked with politics.

We're part of my wife's family farm and down below runs Little Wolf Creek,
thus the name of my website/honey.

It was just a few days ago that over coffee with the farmer across my road
we talked about fishing.
I had told him that my wife and sisters as kids almost 60 years ago had
caught all kinds of tasty catfish in the creek.
He shared stories about doing the same since my creek flows from his farm
to our side.
Little Wolf Creek flows into Wolf's creek then into the Chippawa and that
becomes a river that flows into Lake Erie.
You won't find catfish in our creek nor the Wolf and maybe much further
down stream in the Chippawa flanked by farmland.
Here's the inextricable part I referred to.
The city near by years ago decided against all science to build what has
over time become a huge dump at the headwaters /drainage basin
of the Chippawa.
Neither the fellow that rents the family farm land nor the guy across the
main road on the Wolf use neonics nor spray them.
But the guy on the Wolf ( good friend) plants right into the river bed or
what was the creek because it got silted in and believe it or not
"legislation" allows him to.
No neonics/sprays No fish either.
So what's happened? Scientifically lots but it's inextricably linked to
politics.
