My bees are healthy and active, many hives have very large populations,
and the number of flowers from plants bee's like is so great that even
where I have lots of hives, you have to look for a while before you see a
bee.

Last year I had lots of honey at this time, and I have nothing at all now,
and have had to stop going to the Farmer's Markets completely. The weather
has been nice, the ground is moist. Here's a picture I took today, you can
see the number of bees coming out of a crack in back of this hive.

I'm hoping the large amount of pollen is stimulating the bees to
concentrate on brood rather than honey, but I'm starting to get nervous.
Does anyone have any ideas? There is lots of brood, and I see very little
signs of large scale poisoning, which is a problem in this area.

Thanks
Tim Vaughan
