The Southern Adirondack Beekeepers Association will hold their annual
full-day seminar on Saturday March 26, 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. {check-in 8:30
– 9:00} in lecture center one on the UAlbany (University at Albany) campus
located at 1400 Washington Ave., Albany NY
(Same place as in 2003 - 2010).

Our Eminent Speakers and Their Topics:

Dr. Dewey Caron of U. Delaware
Bee Loss Epidemic (new data included!)
and Colony Natural History

Dr. Richard Fell of Virginia Tech
Pesticides and Honey Bees: Fact or Crap
and Nosema Ceranae : Incidence and Problems

Gary Reuter of U. Minnesota
The Wonder of Bees and
Drones, Queens and Honey Bee Sex Life

Presentations run consecutively.  Raffle drawings held at 4:45.

Vendors:
Betterbee, Brushy Mountain Bee Farm (PA branch) and Dadant (Waverly NY
branch) will be there.
Orders made in a timely fashion will be delivered to the University parking
lot, if there is room in the trucks.

Cost:
$28 if pre-registered by 3/16.  This includes refreshment breaks.  (Lunch is
available nearby.)
Walk-ins are welcome at a cost of $40 each.
Discount cost  for CURRENT SABA members, $23.  CURRENT SABA members as
walk-ins, $35 each.
(A one year SABA membership costs $15.)

Friday night Dinner:
There will be a get-together dinner at a nearby restaurant the night before
the seminar. All speakers usually attend. Note: We'll be at a different
restaurant this year.

Hotels:
Albany has many hotels and motels, some as low as $60 a night.  Please check
the Internet.
