If you were moving brood comb during the manipulation (leaving a frame of brood and the old queen on the old stand and removing the rest to a new stand), you would make sure that the frame had now capped brood and apply oxalic acid (dribble, or sublimation) before any of the brood was capped. The younger the frame of eggs/larvae the more time you would have to apply the O.A..

If you were using empty comb or foundation without brood, you would have approximately a week to apply the oxalic acid after the manipulation.
