In the case where there is only one foundress mite in a cell, the 
daughter mites mate with their brother. The male mite doesn't live 
beyond the emergence of the mature bee (he only lives for one breeding 
cycle, the same one he came from), so doesn't have the opportunity to 
mate with his own daughters later.
