From Pump Manufacturer /Lead, Acid corrotion

"I have never heard of anyone complaining about our pump being affected by
the acids of honey attacking the brass. Our pump do have a small amount of
lead in them this is our 85-5-5-5 red brass description. Here are the
element that make up our castings = Copper-85% Tin-5% Zinc-5% Lead-5%
Alloys. The maple syrup industry has used our pumps for years in there
process."

Enough information for my first test.
After this season will evaluate.
