An interesting comment was made at our convention.  I've wondered
about repeating it, but will if all understand it is just an anecdote
and not substantiated.
 
Someone asked a speaker if the increasing prices of honey were being
passed on to Chinese peasants who produce it.  Apparently an
official inside that country had been asked the same question and the
reply had been to the effect that if the prices paid to producers in
the country exceed the price of sugar there they would have a
quality problem.
 
Just like the good old USA? ;-)
