Hi Allen and Everyone,

Tom Seeley also published the info in a Bee Culture article last year. Off
the top of my head, he recently found about 9 feral hives in the same area
he had located about 13 ferals in the 1970's. And he still had to survey a
significant portion of that area to complete the comparison. I haven't seen
figures for the final tally.
