My big brother told me that a ribbon of cloth soaked in un-salted oil,
like maybe cooking oil would keep the bees from getting the mites.
Has any of yall ever heard of that? Does it work? Did you try it?
What kind of oil did you use? How often do you change it?
He said that I'm to put it going cross ways on top of the frames
  in the brood chaimber.
I've already lost a few hives to the mite. I sure don't want to lose
any more. Is my big brother correct? Hmmmm?
