This is one of the biggest falsehoods out there about Monsanto.  Monsanto 
did not create monocultures.  Economics and the demand for more and more 
food by our burgeoning population created the agricultural environment we 
see today.  If we did not demand the corn and soybeans, and instead wanted 
clover and alfalfa cut after full bloom, we would have monocultures of bee 
pasture.
