Loose-fitting, lightweight bee suits.

Nothing but shorts or a bathing suit under the bee suit.

A bucket of water poured over the head, bee suit and all.

Also,  a bee blower nozzle inserted into the arm or leg of the suit provides 
an instant air conditioning effect.

Bee blowers are great for getting a stubborn, seemingly-out smoker belching, 
too -- almost as good as a drive down the freeway.
