Randy gets a lot of flack from some on this list including sarcastic
remarks and impugning his integrity (a pesticide payrollee).

Studies galore are thrown at him and he reads them, something that the ones
who throw them seem not to have done (except for Jim, who I am a fan of no
matter if he is right or wrong, since he writes well and with good humor.).

As far as I know Jerry and Randy are the only beekeepers on this list who
are actually doing real research in real conditions in the field. Most all
the rest of us just quote studies or anecdotal evidence or just pull "facts
out of our supposeatory.

He is a treasure and I really cannot understand why he puts up with us.
