Would there be any advantage to a 2 queen hive as a varroa management tool?
If one could increase the number of bees to mites, you might reduce or
prolong the need to treat with chemicals. Also have a greater population
should provide more healthy bees for honey production, not to mention a
extra queen that could be used else for a split.
