Firstly it is Tasmania.  No Z.  Those Taswegians would get offended <G>.
 
Leatherwood is of the genus Eucryphia.  It is a tree that only grows in Tasmania although I believe that there is a little in Victoria but not many trees.  Leatherwood is marketed as a floral source and is unique to Tasmania..  If you want details and brochures, send me an e.mail and I will give you an address to write to.
