What these guys are hinting about is no secret. Both have been sharing there
experiments with many beekeepers. even the Australian beekeeper asked if I
had heard about their experiments.

Basically Randy has been grinding up CCD bees ( whatever CCD bees are?) and
are taking hives and spraying the solution on the bees and the hives start
failing. Claiming to be able to create CCD symptoms at will in normally
healthy hives ( however hives with nosema ceranae loads are not hives which
higes and I would not consider *nosema ceranae clean hives*.)

According to Jerry B. the research is based on the hypothesis that nosema
ceranae in combination with another pathogen is responsible for CCD. Jerry
B. knows from private email I find the hypothesis very reasonable.

I suspect a strong hive without nosema ceranae would not be effected by the
spray *unless varroa loads were high* but maybe not. This approach was used
in Florida when looking at the hives of Hackenberg and the bees were
unaffected i was told.

I commend Randy & Jerry for the testing!
