Hi All

I loved the story as well.   I'm sure there are likely lots of strange  
observations out there.  Mine involved a bee flying back and forth in  
front of a hive but tethered to the hive by a long string like thing.   
I grabbed the string to release the bee and found it was an elastic  
band I had used to fasten comb, taken from a cutout, into a frame.
