 What I am saying is that the temporal caste system of that bee, and the specific behaviors of that bee, will be very negatively impacted.  If it doesn't die, it still won't be useful.  It might end up with the thousands of others that hang on the inner cover, doing nothing.  Or it might just behave inappropriately and in that way not help colony productivity.  Even if it follows the correct job plan, it will be under-productive, given the faults in its nervous system that are introduced by irreversibly bound synapses.  It's like an electronic device that was exposed to moisture.  It might still work, but not very well.
