An observation which, I am surprised the moderators have not commented on-
the "excessive quotes" in recent messages. My guess is they are Gmail but
maybe not.

When you hit the reply button in Gmail, the reply box you write in has
three dots at the bottom.

...   (with a box around them)


If you click the box with the dots you will see the original message which
you can edit or delete. If you do not open it and delete the original post,
it will appear in your message, hence all the full message quotes on the
bottom of several recent messages.

That is a no-no on the BeeL and sends moderators into fits of apoplexy,
which, for at least one, is their normal state.
