Would anyone have expected otherwise?

Maybe not here, but I am just realizing how little is actually known about farming and pesticides in general.

Thinking about it a lot lately, understand that the latest information puts slighty less than 2% of the population involved directly in AG/farming.(US numbers)
Of that I am betting not all of them really understand pesticides.

This group is a bit more of rare air, but even here there are quite a few complete misconceptions.

I would bet if you asked 100 beekeepers about miticides, they wouldn't even recognize that they are pesticides themselves.
