I was following the topic for a while there, but can't determine if it was
laid to rest with any final conclusion.
 
Is comb-trapping, or similarly, removal of drone brood en masse helping the
mites' success, or is it indeed a valuble method for the hobbiest, if timed
right?  There was a lot of back and forth discussion on this but it seems
to have petered out.  I would still be interested in anyone's opinion and
view of these methods.  You can e-mail me directly or I will get the info
off the BEE-L.
